Here's a little more about us as an organisation -

Rotherhithe Playhouse is a new initiative from award-winning director Phil Willmott in response to recent surveys of audiences, actors and producers suggesting fear of infection and economic pressures may soon render theatre obsolete beyond the commercial West End. It aims to re-examine every aspect of who, where, why, when and how people will make and watch theatre in our Covid age and find fresh working models with which to keep performance safe alive and relevant. In just over a year the company has produced 8 critically acclaimed productions in unique pop-up venues at the heart of their community; allaying fears about, and maintaining interest, in live theatre and introducing new audiences to the art form who may never have otherwise experienced it.
