Since Covid the landscape had become very bleak. Many careers have stopped entirely, and there's been an exodus of theatre makers from every single theatre discipline" Sam Mendes.
So, we are currently experimenting with a new way of scheduling rehearsals and performances over a series of long weekends and outside of office hours, allowing our theatre makers to practice their craft whilst maintaining permanent jobs during the working week.
We've euphemistically named this new model, with sessions on Friday evening, Saturdays, Sundays and Monday evenings, after an olde English expression for a series of extraordinary events, A MONTH OF SUNDAYS.
To keep everything as stress free as possible performers, creatives and crew can pick and plan for a convenient month of Sundays, up to six months in advance, 1 for rehearsals and 1 for performances, and completed scripts will be distributed, rolls allocated, and designs finalised to allow for adequate prep time. Further rehearsal sessions will be available on request.
